Pocrnic Realty Advisors is seeking a full-time Residential Real Estate Appraiser. The incumbent is required to maintain a CRA or AACI designation or is actively working towards their professional designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.
The Job Description
The appraiser would be responsible for data collection, market analysis, and valuation of residential real estate throughout the Hamilton/Niagara region in Ontario under the supervision of a managing director. There is the opportunity to assist with or complete the appraisals of commercial, industrial and investment properties if interested.
The Ideal Candidate
A thorough understanding of appraisal methodology and the real estate industry and relevant market place.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
Is a team player with an enthusiastic approach to work that is result driven.
Ability to work independently and meet tight delivery dates.
Must have exceptional standards and a high level of professionalism with business skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interrelate with co-workers, clients, and marketplace participants.
Ambition to grow within the company and industry.
Requirements
University degree in complementary discipline.
CRA designation or working towards the designation.
A background in real estate or business is an asset.
A valid driver’s license is required, as is the availability of a vehicle for inspection and travel purposes.
