AIC Candidate Member Training Program
Our Real Estate Appraiser Training Program is designed to provide aspiring appraisers with comprehensive, hands-on experience in the field. This program offers mentorship from industry professionals and allows participants to develop the essential skills needed to succeed in real estate appraisal. Through practical training and exposure to a variety of appraisal scenarios, participants will gain valuable insights and work towards professional certification in a supportive learning environment.
We are a dynamic real estate appraisal firm seeking an eager and enthusiastic AIC Candidate Member to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate is passionate, detail-oriented with a desire for growth and professional development in our quality-focused company.
Our office is based in North York, serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions.
The Candidate Member Training Program is structured as follows:
In the first year, the candidate will work a minimum of 30 hours per week as an Administrative Assistant. After six months, there will be an opportunity to transition into an Appraiser Candidate role, while continuing the administrative duties, under the supervision of a designated appraiser.
Administrative Assistant Role and Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for a broad range of administrative duties to support our team. Key responsibilities include:
- Answering phone calls, providing appraisal quotes, and recording client requests with patience and professionalism.
- Updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and ensuring timely follow-up with clients.
- Sorting and distributing mail, archiving documents, and handling various administrative tasks as needed.
- Reviewing and proofreading real estate appraisal reports prior to signature and submission to clients.
- Creating engaging social media posts and communication materials while adhering to the corporate brand.
- Maintaining client information in QuickBooks and preparing accurate invoices.
- Handling confidential information with discretion and delivering the highest level of customer service.
This is a full-time position, approximately 30 hours per week, with a pay range of $17.20 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills with a strong client-focused approach.
- Punctuality and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- A confident and positive attitude, with a high level of client orientation.
- Keen attention to detail and prompt responsiveness to all forms of communication (phone calls, text messages, and emails).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and post-creation software.
- A proactive, engaging personality with a strong desire to learn and take initiative.
- Prior experience in administrative roles and social media management is an asset.
