We are a residential real estate appraisal and consulting firm serving a diverse client base providing appraisal services throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our clients include financial institutions, accountants, legal professionals, realtors and property owners. We are currently seeking interested candidates to join our team for the position of Associate Appraiser. Exceptional opportunity to enter the industry for an appraisal career with a growing firm specializing in residential assignments. Experience is NOT necessary. Successful applicants will perform the following duties:
- Prepare residential appraisal reports with limited supervision
- Market research, data entry, analysis, and organization
- Collect data through onsite property inspections, photograph properties.
- Communicate with clients, builders and real estate agents via email, telephone and in person
- Willing to travel and work on the road
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills. Effectively communicate with the public, company executives and clients. Both oral and written
- Well organized and exceptional planning skills
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated with a commitment to learning
- Ability to work within tight deadlines which may go beyond typical business hours
Qualifications:
- Completed at least 2 years of accredited post-secondary education
- Commitment to register with the AIC as a Candidate Member
- Real Estate experience is an asset but Not mandatory
- Access to MLS is an asset but Not mandatory
- Experience using basic computer software including MS Word and Excel
- Must have a valid G class driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a car to complete full property inspections in all seasons
- Applicants must have Clean Criminal Record
