Gilles Lecours

Gilles is an AACI member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada since 1990, he has been a Board Member of the Provincial Association continuously since 2010 and was the President from 2013 to 2015. He is also a member of the “Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec” since 1986. Gilles has accumulated 40 years of experience in the real estate industry and taught to future technicians at College Level. His career began in 1976 in Montreal as a technician in the municipal assessment area. He completed his education at Université du Québec à Montréal to become an appraiser. He co-founded an appraisal firm in 1992, then moved to CBRE as a senior appraiser. He has developed an expertise in larger properties and was recognised as such by institutional investors. From 2008 to 2017, he worked as project manager at Fonds immobilier de solidarité FTQ.
